Maximum BLOB (Binary Large OBject) Size
In order to limit the memory size needed to display BLOBs, it is possible to set a maximum limit on both the BLOB preview size and the size of BLOB downloads. Both these are configured in the client properties of the system menu. These values are cached to improve performance. This cache will be cleared every hour to incorporate changes.
property | Meaning | Default |
---|---|---|
blob.preview.size | The size in bytes after which the previewed object is truncated. All bytes are available in AvantGard Trax, but not shown for performance reasons. | 5.000 (5Kbyte) |
blob.download.limit | Data which is smaller than this size will be down- loaded to your local machine; If the (gzip compressed) data is larger, an exception will be shown informing you of breaching the data threshold. All bytes are available in AvantGard Trax, but not downloadable for performance reasons. | 10.000 (10 Kbyte) |
