The menu defines the menu structure and where actions are located in the menu. To edit the menu, select Internal > Menu form the menu bar at the top of the application. It is not possible to create new actions here, they can only be added, have their location in the menu defined or be removed here. The info button can be used to view the action details. The menu edited here should be seen as a structuring tool for menu items. Use the + symbol to expand the menu items down to the action level.

The menu bar is globally defined and each security profile has access to a subset of the global menu bar. This means that menu items will be located in the same menu structure for all users, but each user only sees the items which are available to him. For example, the global menu will include imports for all country-specific formats, but a security profile might only have access to the European formats. The other items will not be shown to him/her.

Adding an action/menu division to the menu

An action is added by selecting a location on the menu structure and selecting the Add action button and choose the desired action from the list. A menu item is added by the New menu button which presents the option to enter the menu name and translations. Either of these can be selected and removed with the remove button.

Note that once a new menu item has been added, the translations can be edited by using the info button.

Modifying the menu structure

To change the order of actions and menus, you can select them and use drag-and-drop to bring them to their desired position. The blue line indicates where the dragged item will be positioned after release.
