Navigation
The navigation is located at internal > Navigation and defines the global order of inventories. Per security profile, a subset of this navigation is used. This means that menu items will be located in the same navigation structure for all users, but each user only sees the navigation items which are available to him.
The translations are used both on screen when showing the navigation to a user and within the security profile where they can be selected to be accessible from that profile, but the codes are shown when configuring the navigation here.
Note that for this chapter the word navigational element will be used to mean a navigational grouping element. In the example below ApplicationData, UnitaryPayments, AS, NEW_NAVIGATION, ID, ID_Workflow are examples of these navigational grouping elements. They act as higher-level folders.

Modifying the navigation structure
You can drag and drop inventories and navigation folders from within the navigation screen (menu Internal > Navigation). The location where the dropped item will be placed will be marked with a blue line and triangle.
Adding an inventory/navigation element to the navigation
Inventories/elements are added to the navigation by selecting internal > Navigation from the menu bar and choosing where you want to add the navigation followed by New navigation or add inventory. A new navigational element is entered as text with the four translations, an inventory can be selected from the list which will appear. This list includes only the unused inventories to prevent duplicate entries.
Note that when you create a new navigational element and want it to be on the top level, you will have to drag it to that position after creation as by default it will be part of an existing navigation element.
In order to have this change reflected in the application, you must also update the security profile (check the checkbox next to the new inventory/navigational element).
Custom URL
The Tree nodes in the navigation can now point to an external URL. If the URL is not empty, selecting the node in the GUI will show that URL in the right inventory pane. Ba aware, the browser will not allow to mix HTTPS and HTTP pages.
