Introduction

As of AvantGard Trax release 4.2 the streaming framework provides a new approach to processing input files. The framework is designed to ensure a small memory footprint while still being able to handle large files.

Another feature of the framework is the ability to process transaction-level I/O Pack structures and JAXB objects in parallel. This will yield better throughput results on multi-core platforms. The thread pool configurations can be customized via AvantGard Trax application properties.

All AvantGard Trax server platforms support these new features.
