Creating an iOS webclip

iOS allows the creation of a webclip, showing the web application full screen without browser header or footer bars.

To create a webclip, first browse to the web application in Safari and click the square with arrow icon (Figure 24-1) at the bottom. After the menu opens, choose ‘Add to home screen’ (Figure 24-2). Enter a name for the webclip and click ‘Add’ in the top-right corner (Figure 24-3). Now the web application can be launched like any other app from the homescreen (Figure 24-4). Described as it is done in iOS 7.
